I just bought another 7300 to do SO2R (Single Operator, 2 Radio) contesting. A stellar, cool running, and reliable performer in all modes. I've been using a IC-7300 for the last three years. If you demand other features like two receivers, external monitor display, extra I/O connections, and better Sherwood specs, have at it for more than triple the price. I've operated a lot of radios in 63 years, but the 7300 continues to amaze me with its stellar performance and ease of use, especially for the price.
